Pride & Glory
Music Review
Southern Rock, Blues, Heavy Metal!
Pride & Glory was a solo project formed by the American vocalist/guitarist Zakk Wylde in 1991.
They released one self-titled studio album before disbanding in 1994.
Zakk is best known for being the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and as the founder of the Black Label Society.
Pride & Glory was mainly influenced by Blues, Southern Rock and Heavy Metal.
Southern Rock on its own is a subgenre of Rock that was developed in the US in the Southern States. It’s a mixture of Rock n’ Roll, Country and Blues.
Heavy metal is a different genre of rock that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, mainly in the United Kingdom and the United States.
I strongly recommend listening to this band and its unique mixture!
